I love Moonlead Tea Shop and its milk tea variants!

Everyone who follows The Wise Living is well familiar with the fact that I am a huge lover of tea. Milk tea, white tea, black tea, green tea - hey, if there's even a rainbow tea, I'd probably try it as well! That's how I love tea, so imagine my delight when I found out about Moonleaf Tea Shop, The Columns, Makati!

There I was, looking for planner inspirations when the search engine finally decided to let me meet Moonleaf: I saw the Moonleaf 2013 planner on Twitter and I was instantly hooked. And when I saw the rave reviews and the ultimate offerings of Moonleaf, I fell deeply in love. It was a magical feeling. It was surreal.

But it felt oh-so-good.

True to my milk tea obsession, I searched through the net and found out they have a branch at Makati. How convenient, I was about to fetch LJ from Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati so maybe it was destiny that led to this meeting?

Forgive me for I seem to have drunk a lot of milk tea.

Fast forward to the actual branch, then?

In my excitement, I ordered two milk tea drinks: Wintermelon Milk Tea and Honey Milk Tea and one Nutella Rocks.

I know this sounds so overused that it's almost a cliche, but the Wintermelon Milk Tea was one of the best, if not the best, I had. Its creaminess was a subtle hint that gently slithered my taste buds - it's sweet, but not overpowering the refreshing touch of the tea. It was exactly my cup of tea.

The Honey Milk Tea, on the other hand, tasted decent enough. It tasted like that honey, water, milk and tea would taste like. It was okay. In the same train of thoughts, the Nutella Rocks was nothing special for me, either.

And because the Red Velvet Cake kept on tempting me every time I looked at it, I bought it as well. Spend on what you love, remember? :)

The Red Velvet Cake was great on the taste but not so much on the consistency. It was a bit too dry for my liking. Maybe next time I'll try the French macaroons?

Overall, it was a good experience. Also, I feel that the guard there did his job well. Instead of just loitering around, he asked me if I wanted to sit and he immediately fixed a table and a chair for me - what great customer service! Kudos to him, so let's just say he went home bringing a pasalubong. :)
